1-FILTER / DRYER SYSTEM, MANUFACTURED BY DRY VAC, 48”, WITH 40 48”-2” THICK POLYPROPYLENE PLATES. THE UNIT IS SET UP FOR 40 C/FT OF CAKE CAPACITY, EXPANDAPLE TO 50 C/FT, HAS EXPANDAPLE DIAPHRAM TYPE PLATES [ WITH HOT WATER ] TO ENHANCE DEWATERING OF THE CAKE, AND 3500 PSI AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC CLOSING MECHANISM. AFTER THE PLATES ARE DRAINED OF HOT WATER A VACUUM IS PULLED TO FURTHER DRY THE CAKE. IN THE FINAL CYCLE THE CAKE IS AIR DRIED FOR FINAL DRY PROCESS. THE SYTEM INCLUDES, [2] 10 H.P. HOT WATER CIRCULATION PUMPS, [1] FILTRATE PUMP, [1] 15 H.P. VACUUM PUMP, AND PLATE CONDENSOR.
