We have a E-Coat Plating system that we just removed from active service from a decorative hardware manufacturing company, that is consolidating their production facilities into a new single plant. 

 The E-Coat Principle is when an unfinished product is submerged in a high water content electrophoretic paint emulsion and then has an electric current pass through it. The paint particles that are in contact with the product,  then bonds with the products surface and creates an electrically insulating layer. Once this layer is created, it prevents any further electric current from passing through, and results in a perfectly even coat.

Once the part is coated it is placed in an oven which cross-links the coating and allows it to flow. This is done in order to acheive the physical and decorative properties that are desired.

Included with this system are the following componants:
  • 10 Plastic Tanks with covers, heaters, and plumbing accessories
  • 1 stainless steel tank with a heater, for backup.
  • 1 Aldonex Ultimat power supply 100 amps, 1-12 volts RPE DC Power supply 30 amps.
  • Amtrex Ultrasonic Tank with Generator and power transformer
  • Liquid Filtration System  with 1 lot of spare filters
  • DeIonised Water System with Controls
  • Lot of racks for products
  • manuals and available documentation.

This system has been correctly de-commissioned and is ready for immediate shipment. Inspection is welcome and can be arranged via bid on equipment.
