This pass-thru tray washer is constructed almost entirely of stainless steel (AISI 304).  It consists of a 3’ loading section that feeds into the main wash cabinet.  The main cabinet is 18’ long with 4 large side doors and removable tunnel parts to make maintenance easier.  2 stainless steel drive chains with UHMW guides convey the wash items through the cabinet.  An adjustable variable speed drive motor controls the speed of the drive conveyor.  Wash items are guided by stainless steel guides at the bottom, sides, and top.  A steam extraction system is mounted above the washer.  Steam and condensation are collected in hoods located at the in-feed and out-feed of the washer and then ducted to a condenser unit and exhaust fan and then re-circulated to the main wash tank.
 
There are 6 stainless steel main spray bars with a total of 71 stainless steel adjustable spray nozzles and 2 clean outs per spray bar.  Wash water is pumped at a high volume and high pressure via a 15 HP centrifugal pump with stainless steel construction and re-circulated for conservation.  A 106 gallon stainless steel collection tank is mounted below the main wash.  A small man door is provided for maintenance and clean up.  An overflow system helps maintain the proper water level and helps keep the wash water clean by skimming the debris off of the surface.  Wash water is filtered through a removable stainless steel filter tray.  A water level sensor protects the pump from running dry and a thermostatically controlled 30 kW heating system maintains the wash water at desired temperature.  A heated fresh water final rinse spray bar with 12 nozzles is located at the end of the wash line.  There is a detergent and rinse-aid pump for automatic dosing of a liquid detergent into the wash water and a liquid rinse-aid for the final rinse.  The washer includes a 3’ exit section for unloading.  The exit section can be extended to include a blow off section.  The control panel is a water tight stainless steel enclosure.
