The KaVoKLAVE sterilizer is a steam pressure vessel made of high strength aluminum alloy, with self-locking cover, safety valve and an electronic control panel.
The KaVoKLAVE is designed for effective sterilization of instruments.  These are placed inside plastic cassettes which are then placed into the sterilizer, suspended vertically on an internal rack assembly.  But it is not recommended for sterilization of porous loads (i.e.: cotton or gauze), liquids or culture media.
Total cycle time is 25 to 35 minutes.
Normal operating pressure is 1 Bar (15 PSI).
Sterilizing cycle is set for 121C (250F), held for 16 minutes.
