    Description

    Used Federal filler/capper model 21/7. This is a K series machine capable of filling 1/2 gallon bottles on every station. The machine was manufactured in 1985 and was originally equipped with a snap cap pressure pad capping system. In 2001 the machine was upgraded with a new Federal, GEM screw capping system at a cost of almost $60,000. It was used sparingly for less than a year and the project was discontinued. This included a whole new capping turret with torque adjustable chucks, cap chute, centrifugal bowl cap sorter/feeder, as well as a vibratory bulk hopper to feed the sorter. The centrifugal feeder is photo eye controlled. The machine is currently equipped with 1 1/8 inch J-2 valves and 38mm capping chucks. The current chucks are equipped with polyurethane rubber inserts rather than metal jaws. Machine is set up for left to right operation.Included with the machine is the CIP ring and additional container change parts.
