    Description

    This is a vertical form fill seal system based on a Matrix Orion Bagger and Matrix CX-10 scale and Deamco bucket elevator. The bucket elevator has a vibratory feeder allowing the elevator to intermittently run and load the scale hopper. The CX-10 Scale has 10 weigh buckets and is controlled by a windows based graphical user interface application. It allows numerous configurations as recipes to fill the bags. The program allows dozens of configurations to optimize the speed and consistency of the scale. The bagger is a Matrix Orion and can accommodate custom bag sizes. This model is still supported and sold by Matrix. Their brochure for this model can be found on their website and describes all its features fully. The bagger stores numerous bag configurations and setup up options. The system is preloaded with several recipes to get you going. The speed depends greatly on the product. The heavier the product, the faster it will run. We have three different sized forming collars and two sets of jaws. One set of jaws incorporates a tear notch and a peg hole. The second set of jaws are standard seals on top and bottom. The entire system is interconnected and is ready to run.

    This machine has run a total of 4 times as an entire system. It was purchased for a project that never took off and therefore, we are abandoning the project and selling the associated equipment. The bagger was used in manual mode 2-3 times a year. The system was fired up to make the videos referenced in the listing.
