    Description

    Aperture measures 24” wide x 6” high. Unit sits on a stainless steel tubular base, on leveling legs. Belt measures 75” L x 24” W and comes with adjustable guide rails and a pneumatic reject station. Machine is designed to detect metal contaminants in a wide range of products. A high frequency magnetic field is set up inside the detector by a coil. Ferrous or Nonferrous particles cause minute disturbances of the field. These disturbances are picked up by two search coils, amplified and used to trip alarm circuits or trigger the automatic rejection of the contaminant. Electrics: 1/60/120-240 volts. Speed: 1 to 300 per minute, depending on application. Sensitivity Range: 0.8mm ferrous, 1.5mm non-ferrous, 1.5mm stainless steel. Was last used in a spice company.
