    The updated QuickPouch Micro automated pouch opener for pre-made pouches; Bigger magazine, faster reloads, improved cycle rate, same small footprintis portable, weighing less than 30lbs. and requiring minimal air and power. Magazine capacity has increased by approximately 50% for standard pouches, with even greater improvements for zipper and gusset pouches. The magazine automatically retracts when the new clamshell-style guarding is opened, leaving the operator's hands free and allowing greater access during pouch reloading, resulting in an average reload time of just a few seconds.QuickPouch is proud to have delivered over 400 QuickPouch Micros to package rapid Covid-19 Antigen tests and nasal swabs since 2020. Running 24 hours a day, these systems have now packaged hundreds of millions of Covid-19 tests, along with millions of nasal swabs and other related products.

    The Micro acts like an extra set of hands for the operator, presenting and opening the pouch to allow product to be loaded with minimal human contact and effort, keeping the operators fingers outside of the pouch at all times. The system can operate in either automatic mode (machine paced) or manual mode (operator paced) at speeds of up to 30 pouches per minute. Fewer and faster reloads with the updated magazine mean more time opening pouches and less time reloading the machine. After the product has been inserted into the pouch the unit releases it, allowing it to be sealed with a separate heat sealer. The Micro is ideal for rapid deployment of new products, such as new medical tests or treatments that cannot wait months for a fully automated or custom packaging solution. With short lead times and minimal operator training required the Micro is one of the fastest ways to significantly increase production capabilities. By potentially doubling or tripling the efficiency of operators more pouches can be loaded with fewer people in less time.
