The Beckman GS-6 Series centrifuges are high-performance systems available in either ambient tabletop, refrigerated tabletop or refrigerated knee-well models. As the knee-well model, the Beckman GS-6K centrifuge offers the added advantage of easy transportability, due to its lightweight, small size and rolling platform. Designed to make maximum use of available laboratory space, all Beckman centrifuge models are compact and offer easy access and excellent performance. Other models include the tabletop Beckman GS-6, and the refrigerated systems, the Beckman GS-6R and Beckman GS-6KR.
The line of GS-6 Series highlights versatility. A variety of rotor/adapter combinations are available to handle almost any application. The user can select from two fixed angle rotors or the high capacity GH-3.8 swinging bucket rotor, which uses a variety of adapters to spin tubes and bottles of all sizes.
Featuring a sample capacity of as much as three liters and a rugged drive that generates up to 5,642 g, the GS-6 centrifuges process samples quickly. Its automatic soft start feature also provides optimum acceleration times while protecting delicate gradients, and the two-stage dynamic/disk brake allows rapid, smooth deceleration.
The Beckman GS-6 Series centrifuge is designed from the ground up to perfectly match your space requirements and application needs. The instrument panel is a simple combination of control dials and switches for power; run parameters and brake settings. Additionally, the Accuset control makes setting run speeds easy and assures that the speed you set will be within 10 rpm of the speed you get.
