***This centrifuge was tested to specifications. Unit is able to reach lowest set temp -10c and spin at max rotor RPM. Unit has slight wear from normal use. (Rust buildup on inside of lid). See photos for details.

The Eppendorf 5403 refrigerated benchtop centrifuge has a top speed of 15,000 rpm and 23,100 x g force. A timer allows users to program runs from 1 to 99 minutes adjustable in one minute increments, with a continuous setting for longer runs. The Eppendorf 5403 has a brushless rotor designed to provide maintenance free operation. A rotor identification system automatically identifies the rotor in the machine and displays max achievable rpm and senses an unbalance in the rotor load.
