    Description

    Alfa-Laval Model MPOX207SGT-14-50 oil separator / purifier, previously used in bio-diesel operation. Worm wheel shaft is rated for 1420 - 1500 RPM, revolution counter rated for 118-125 RPM. Driven by 7-1/2 HP, 230/460 V, 1760 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz motor. Serial number 2978666. In working condition when removed from service in 2022.

    Additional Features: Spare parts machine offered with separator.

    Manufacturer Specifications: Purification or clarification of distillates, marine diesel oils, intermediate and heavy fuel oils, and lubricating oils used in marine installations and power stations. The MOPX separator bowl can be arranged as a purifier or as a clarifier. A purifier separates sludge and water from the oil. Water is continuously discharged from the bowl. The sludge accumulated in the sludge space in both a purifier and a clarifier is intermittently discharged. In a clarifier, the water outlet is blocked i.e. the water handling capability is limited
