    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
Maximize profits and minimize product giveway with the Thermo Scientific VersaWeigh checkweigher. This versatile, scalable system is easy to use and maintain. This automatic continuous checkweigher is constituted by: a basic support element of the balance and of the conveyor belt, a high sensibility and high efficiency check scales, supplied with an electromagnetic detector that transforms in electric signal the position of the scales under the weight of the product, a conveyor belt and a projector unit that signals the moment in which the object is about to leave the balance.

    SECTORS OF USE:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.

    MAIN FEATURES:
The machine was designed and built to control deviations from the nominal weight of a series of similar objects, to compare these deviations with the limit values of acceptability that have been set and to calculate the weighting trend of the production of the line in which the machine is inserted automatically. The checkweigher is part of a transporting line that controls objects of any type and shape. Going through the weighing surface takes a certain time. Although very short, this time is enough for the scales to take on a position that is proportioned to the weight of the product. When it is about to leave the scales, the object meets the beam of light that crosses the conveyor. This way overshadowed, the fototransistor commands the electric circuit to carry out immediately the weight checking. This weight value is then compared with the two values, inferior and superior, fixed as the acceptance limits. The checkweigher then according to this result accepts or rejects the weigh, consequently let it proceed undisturbed, or divert and reject it. When this latter happens, the object can be diverted towards left or right depending on the type of weight defect (surplus or lack).
