Description

62in Shar center rewind rereeler and inspection machine.
This machine was unwinding & rewinding rolls of metalized films.
Unwind will accept 34in diameter rolls.
Rewind will rewind 40in diameter rolls.
Age approximately 1990.
1500 feet per minute.
Variable speed.
Cleveland controls.
DC drive, 230 volt, 3 phase, 60 cycle.
20 HP Baldor DC drive motor.
Durant counter with preset. 67in wide idlers, 5in diameter.
If bypass inspection system, 65in wide product can be rewound.
Detached unwind. 3in air shaft with 6in & 12in chucks.
8in Montalvo air brake.
Fife pneumatic sensor.
Automatic edge guiding; moves unwind left / right, +/- 3in.
First idler moves with unwind.
After unwind, goes into inspection system, light system.
3in diameter bowed roll before inspection light.
5in diameter rubber spreader roll after inspection system, before rewind.
Center rewind.
5in diameter, 67in wide rubber-covered layon roll, which is air-loaded down against the rewinding roll.
Can control the amount of pressure down on rewinding roll to help with tightly rewound rolls.
3in air rewind shaft.
