Includes complete set of engineering, maintenence and parts documentation.The design of the Mdl 2000 enables winding at a constant surface pressure regardless of roll weight. Pneumatic cylinders load the driven 8.625in diam. winding drum against the rewinding roll. As the roll diameter increases, the winding drum is deflected about its pivot point and this motion is detected by a hydraulic 4 way valve with a feeler roll. This valve controls the movement of the hydraulic cylindefrs on the rewind arms as they are positioned to neutralize the effect of the roll diam and weight build up.The rewind clutch is used to control winding torque. Any or all of the independent friction elements can be actuated thus having an effect on torque output. Also clutch pressure can be regulated on the pneumatic control panel.
