8714C 300kHz-3000MHz:
The Agilent 8714ET features a built-in transmission/reflection test set with a full range of magnitude and phase measurements. Two independent channels can measure and display two device parameters, such as transmission and reflection response, in a variety of formats including complex impedance, SWR, and delay, on rectangular, polar or Smith-chart displays. These analyzers also employ advanced vector-error-correction techniques to enhance measurement accuracy. For a wider range of output power levels to test active devices and components, Option 1E1 adds a 60-dB step attenuator as a standard feature, which extends the lowest power-level setting to -60 dBm. Both 50-ohm and 75-ohm versions are available.

The 8714C is a 300 kHz to 3 GHz RF Economy Network Analyzer. The 8714C is a easy to use RF network analyzer optimized for production measurements of reflection and transmission parameters. The 8714C integrates an RF synthesized source, transmission/reflection test set, multi-mode receivers, and display in one compact box. The three channel, dual mode receivers provide dynamic range of greater than 100 dB in narrow band measurement mode. For measurements of frequency-translating devices, the network analyzer features broadband internal and external detector inputs.

The receivers incorporate digital signal processing and microprocessor control to speed operation and measurement throughput. Two independent measurement channels and a large CRT, display the measured results of one or two receiver channels in several user-selectable formats.
