Description

Can be used for laboratory or small scale production for heat sealing plastic tubes or laminated tubes.

The sealer works by auto sequence started by closing the sliding guard. A pair of cooled jaws closes the tube leaving about 4mm protruding above the jaws. At the same time a pair of temperature controlled hot jaws descend 45 degrees from above to contact the sides of the protruding tube end. These hot jaws are protected by easily changed self adhesive PTFE/ glass fiber shields. When the hot jaws have imparted the necessary amount of heat they retract. An upper pair of cool jaws than closes on the hot plastic to forge and chill the seal.
