Description

Agitated Vacuum Bed Filter, model VE318-400, manufactured by Allegheny Bradford. The vessel measures 30in diameter x 15in deep with a 174-liter capacity and is jacketed, rated for 100 PSI @ -20 Deg. /300 Deg. F. Features a stainless steel agitated vessel with a right-angle gearbox drive and includes an agitator with two paddles inside a 29in diameter ring, agitating above the filter bed. The unit includes a 2 HP centrifugal pump with 1.5in tri-clamp inlet and outlet connections and is mounted on a stainless steel base. Includes spare filter replacements. Last used in pharmaceutical operations.
