All valves will be rated for 250 psig working pressure and are hydrostatically tested for shell leakage at pressures up to 500 psig. These valves are manufactured in full compliance with ANSI/AWWA C515 Standard for Ductile Iron, Reduced Wall, Resilient Wedge Gate Valves for water supply service The bond of
the rubber wedge closure member has been tested for adhesion per the ASTM D429 Standard. The end flanges of all flanged valves conform to the dimensions and drillings of the ANSI/ASME B16.l Standard as referenced in Section 4.4.1.3 of ANSI/AWWA C515 Standard. The sealing surface of end flanges, also conform to the MSS Standard Practice SP-6, Standard Finishes for Contact Faces of Pipe Flanges and Connecting-End Flanges of Valves and Fittings. Mechanical joint bell dimensions conform to ANSI/AWWA Clll/A21 .11. The end flange of tapping valves conforms to MSS Standard Practice SP-60, Connecting Flange Joint between Tapping Sleeves and Tapping Valves. All interior and exterior surfaces of the valve are coated with an inert, thermosetting epoxy resin to provide a corrosion-resistant coating which complies with the performance requirements of ANSI/AWWA C550 Standard. All 4-12 size valves are certified for
NSF6l compliance by the National Sanitation Foundation. The valves are supplied with EPDM wedges. The temperature rating for valves is 33 to 125 degrees F as required in the AWWA C515 standard. These valves are manufactured by the Clow Valve Company.
