We are a Ford and Isuzu commercial truck dealership. We were sent this machine due based on requirements for hybrid vehicles and newer models switching from R-134a to R-1234YF refrigerant. With us being a specialized dealership we do not work on anything other and Commercial and Medium Duty trucks therefore we do not have a need for this system. We were unable to return it for a refund even though we never ordered it. This machine costs anywhere from $6,500 to $9,000 depending where you look. Our lose is your gain. It has only ever been plugged into an electrically outlet once so we could register and activate the system. It has sat in the tool room collecting dust from day 1.

The AC1234-6 was the first commercially available machine to fully meet the SAE’s requirement for recovering, recycling and recharging vehicle A/C systems that use the new R1234YF refrigerant. The AC1234-6 is a fully automatic ACS machine that comes with an integrated refrigerant identifier that samples the refrigerant in the vehicle’s A/C system prior to recovery, is a highly accurate and reliable machine, and can service both standard and hybrid vehicle A/C systems.
