    #1 Mattison 276 5-Head Moulder- S/N 711

    Push Feed Mattison 276 Moulder- Used and in great condition. Not sure of the date of manufacture, but it sure is a cool vintage machine that will still run like a beast! My dad bought a surplus of machinery in an all-or-nothing deal years ago, thought he might need them one day. Was guaranteed they were in working order when we bought them, been stored indoors since. Comes with Instruction and Service Manual and Repair Catalog Parts Manual.

    “Mattison built these moulders from the twenties up into the seventies and possibly into the early 80s. The engineering and design was so solid that this moulder is one of the most popular professional moulders ever built. When it comes to four head moulders, the 276 was the machine to have. It was the weinig of its day.”

    Head Sequence:
    Top Head- 15HP
    Left Side Head- 7.5HP
    Right Side Head- 7.5HP
    Bottom Side Head 15HP
    Universal Head- 7.5HP

    5 Spindles:
    Left, Right, Top and Bottom: 2-1/8th inch spindles
    Universal: 1-13/16th inch spindle

    Feed: 2 Speed 7.5HP Motor- Adjustable Feed Drive with multiple step pulleys, jog and reverse; variable feed speeds from 21-163 RPM, Roll feed wheels

    Furnished with original factory dust heads, a set of knife cutterheads
    Both side heads are on full yokes and these tilt
    Also have pallets of extra heads and parts available for purchase.
