Heat sealing has long been acknowledged as the gold standard for safely closing plates, however it used to be impaired by seal-to-seal operator variations on manual instruments. With the 4s2 Heat Sealer, 4titude presents the first automated sealer for sheetwise operation.

The 4s2 Heat Sealer allows reproducible, successful sealing on all types of plates up to 50mm height without change to the instrument. Evenness and seal quality are unmatched and surpass the sealing results of manual instruments by far. Together with our novel sealing materials this opens new applications like PCR assay miniaturization or heat sealing of Polystyrene consumables.
