The Biorad Gradient 96-Well DNA engine Thermal cycler utilizes interchangeable sample blocks and heat pump assemblies, which allow the user to change format easily between runs while retaining NIST-traceable accuracy. This thermal cyclers precise peltier effect heat pumps deliver a full temperature range of 0 to 100'C electronically. This compact instrument offers speedy ramping rates of up to 3.0/sec. in models that hold 0.2ml. tubes or V-well plates. The DNA engine thermal cycler has unparalleled temperature homogeneity of +-0.4'C within 30 seconds of arrival at 60 Deg. C for all standard models. This Bio-Rad machine offers a large memory and amiable software that allows control over virtually every thermal parameter.
