The Thermo Scientific Versette is a compact automated liquid handler that fits a wide range of research laboratories. A choice between 96- or 384-channel pipetting heads and user friendly programming combined with reliable performance makes it an ideal choice for liquid handling needs of most laboratories. VersetteTM is designed to perform a variety of liquid handling tasks for a wide range of applications including high-throughput immunoaffinity sample preparation with Mass Spectrometric Immunoassay (MSIA) pipette tips. It also supports 96/384 plate replication, plate stamping and serial dilution procedures.
96- and 384-channel pipetting heads
Versette automated liquid handler is compatible with interchangeable 96- and 384-channel pipetting heads with a total volume range 0.5 300 l. All pipetting heads utilize disposable tips and include RFID tags to self-identify.

The 96- and 384-channel pipetting heads utilize Thermo Scientific D.A.R.T.s (Disposable Automation Research Tips) tips
which include a unique surface seal design that ensures accurate and precise pipetting by forming an even seal across all pipetting channels. D.A.R.T.s technology guarantees accurate and precise pipetting results in all applications across the pipetting range.
Compact size
The compact design of the Versette automated liquid handler allows it to fit on standard laboratory benches and biological hoods. The unit is equipped with a safety shield to ensure maximal user safety. The six position stage uses a unique dual-level design to further minimize space requirements.
User-Friendly Programming Options
The user can start creating simple pipetting procedures using the visual icon-based on-board graphical display which makes
operation simple and easy. For more complex protocols and advanced editing PC-based Thermo Scientific ControlMate software is available. With the ControlMate software you can easily create and run a variety of pipetting operations, from repetitive transfers to complex sequences.
Wide range of applications
The Versette delivers consistent and reliable performance for a variety of applications including plate stamping, plate reformatting, serial dilution and many other applications in low to high-throughput laboratories. The instrument also serves as an immunoaffinity sample preparation platform within our new Thermo Scientific Mass Spectrometric Immunoassay (MSIA) integrated workflow. The MSIA tips are compatible with the Versette liquid handler where sample binding, wash and elution steps are automated to facilitate cycling of sample and the appropriate buffers through the microcolumn embedded in the pipette tip. The complete walk-away immunoaffinity system offers increased sample throughput while providing high assay reproducibility.
