The rocker is the main unit of the system. Through the rocker, weight is measured, and temperature, rocking speed, rocking angle and rocking motion are controlled. The rocker contains four load cells for monitoring the weight of the Cell bag bioreactor and content. The placement of the load cells allows independent weight measurement of the two Cell bag bioreactors in dual mode.
The rocker also contains an embedded microprocessor, which allows the system to be controlled independently of the performance of the connected network and client computer. (Computer system not included). Rocking parameters, the adjustable rocking parameters are rocking speed, rocking angle and rocking motion. These factors, in combination with the cell culture volume, have a direct impact on the oxygen transfer rate and mixing time in the Cell bag bioreactor. The rocking motion sets how large part of the rocking cycle that has a sinusoidal angular velocity. It can be adjusted to be more or less sinusoidal. The minimum value, 15%, gives a uniform motion with almost constant angular velocity throughout the movement, resulting in a stepwise rocking. The maximum value, 100%, gives a sinusoidal motion with slower angular velocity in the end positions and faster in the middle of the movement, resulting in a smoother rocking. (Tray not included).

Xuri Cell Expansion System W25 Pump
Xuri Cell Expansion System W25 Pump is used for applications such as perfusion culture and addition of feed to the culture. Xuri W25 Pump is a component of Xuri Cell Expansion System W25. It is a peristaltic unit incorporating two roller pumps. The pump design makes tubing installation convenient and easy. Tubing sizes from 0.5 mm (1/50) to 4.8 mm (3/16) internal diameter can be used to support flow rates from 0.07 to 100 ml/min. Flow rate is regulated by weight feedback from the scale and is controlled by automatic adjustments of the pump speed. Manual adjustment of the flow rate is also possible.
Xuri Cell Expansion W25 CBCU Full
The CBCU is a component of the ReadyToProcess WAVE 25 bioreactor system. It provides gas to the culture, and monitors pH and/or dissolved oxygen. The compact system contains a controller for mass flow, sensors for gas pressure and O and CO concentrations, and transmitters for pH and DO. An optical fiber cable (Bag Sensor Adaptor 2.5m Assy Item) is delivered with the system.
Three CBCU configurations are available:
ReadyToProcess CBCU pH: for CO, O, and pH control
ReadyToProcess CBCU DO: for CO, O, and DO control
ReadyToProcess CBCU Full: for CO, O, pH and DO control
In single mode, only one ReadyToProcess CBCU is required. When operated in dual mode, culture conditions in the separate Cellbag bioreactors are independently controlled by two ReadyToProcess CBCU units.
CO/O/air mix controller: Depending on the configuration, air is mixed with CO and/or O according to the setpoints. Nitrogen may be used instead of air for maintaining a low oxygen environment for near anaerobic applications.
Gas flow controller: The gas-mix flow is measured and controlled by a mass flow controller (MFC). A correct volumetric flow is achieved by compensation for CO concentration. Quick filling of gas into the Cellbag bioreactor, enabled by the fast-fill function, significantly reduces start-up time. An alarm will inform the user if pressure sensors detect under or overpressure at the gas inlets or within the Cellbag bioreactor.
pH measurement: The pH is measured with optical pH sensors preinstalled in Cellbag bioreactors of pHOPT type. The sensor is connected to the CBCU via an optical fiber cable.
DO measurement: The DO level is measured with optical DO sensors preinstalled in Cellbag bioreactors of DOOPT type. The sensor is connected to the CBCU via an optical fiber cable.
