The Xuri Cell Expansion System W25 delivers an automated, controlled expansion environment for the growth of cell therapies in volumes up to 25 L across research, process development, and manufacturing operations.

Closed system minimizes risk of cell contamination.
High cell densities through automated perfusion protocols.
Processes stay in control through advanced control capabilities and remote operation/monitoring via UNICORN software.
Suitable for use in a regulated environment.

Achieve >10 x 106 cells/mL, in volumes up to 25 L, with non-invasive mixing, media perfusion, and efficient oxygen transfer in a low-sheer environment.

This functionally closed system is based on established WAVE rocking technology that provides gentle mixing and aeration to the culture, resulting in high cell densities whilst minimizing the risk of contamination.

    Seeing is believing

    Goodbye to manual transfers
Scale-up without tedious sequential transfers using single-use Cellbag bioreactors that can accommodate working volumes up to 25 L, ensuring an entire therapeutic dose can be obtained in a single bioreactor. This not only reduces the risk of contamination and operator variability but frees up your time and work space too.

    Take control of process parameters
Process parameters such as rocking speed, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, and perfusion rate are monitored and controlled either locally or remotely. Methods can be created, edited and saved while alarms can be configured to alert you when pre-set conditions are met or deviations from defined parameters occur.

Xuri Cell Expansion System W25 Cellbag Control Unit CBCU provides gas to the culture and monitors pH and/or dissolved oxygen.

    Robust and reliable cell growth.
Suitable for process development, research, seed train, and cGMP manufacturing operations.
Sophisticated method editor supports bolus, continuous, and perfusion feed strategies.
Reliable temperature measurement from integrated sensors.
Accurate weight measurement from integrated load cells.
Ergonomic design for ease of use.
    UNICORN system control software.
Flexible single and dual operating modes.
Designed for mammalian and insect cell culture.

Xuri W25 CBCU is a component of Xuri Cell Expansion System W25. The compact system contains a controller for mass flow, sensors for gas pressure and O2 and CO2 concentrations, and transmitters for pH and dissolved oxygen (DO).

Xuri Cell Expansion System W25 Pump is used for applications such as perfusion culture and addition of feed to the culture.
Xuri W25 Pump is a component of Xuri Cell Expansion System W25. It is a peristaltic unit incorporating two roller pumps. The pump design makes tubing installation convenient and easy. Tubing sizes from 0.5 mm (1/50) to 4.8 mm (3/16) internal diameter can be used to support flow rates from 0.07 to 100 ml/min. Flow rate is regulated by weight feedback from the scale and is controlled by automatic adjustments of the pump speed. Manual adjustment of the flow rate is also possible.

    Filter Heater 29-0652-52
When processing cell therapies using a Xuri Cell Expansion System W25, this accessory heater prevents condensation and clogging of the outlet vent filter on the Cellbag bioreactor.
