Safire2 is a multi-detection microplate reader with Tecans quad4 technology, that takes four monochromators a step above the standard. Flexible, sensitive, accurate, and fast, the Safire II has the essential benefits optimized by stray light reduction. A quad 4 monochromator also gives users a true spectral scan, by eliminating the use of cut-off filters, and increases the speed of fluorescence. This easy-to-use multi-mode microplate reader reads in Fluorescence Intensity top and bottom and multi-channel absorbance and also incorporates temperature control and shaking.
The Safire 2 features 16 slit options on each of the excitation and emission side.
This Tecan plate reader has a wavelength spectrum array from 230-1000nm for absorbance testing and 230-850 nm for fluorescence excitation emissions and operable at temperatures from 4-42C.
