The Konelab 30 is a random-access clinical chemistry system for routine and special chemistries, including specific proteins, electrolytes, therapeutic drugs, and drugs of abuse tests, and has a throughput of 300 tests/hour. It has an on-board capacity of 84 routine samples and five STAT samples - 6 segments with 14 positions per segment - and a typical time to first result of three to 12 minutes.

SAMPLE CUPS AND TUBES: 0.5 ml and 2.0 ml cups, 5 ml and 7 ml tubes, 10 ml tubes with tailored segments.
SAMPLE TYPES: Serum, plasma, urine, CSF.
SAMPLE VOLUMES: Possible range 1-120 l typically 2-15 l and 50 l for Na +, K + and Cl - ISE tests.
Reagents
Continuous access to reagents without interrupting test processing. Automated identification by integrated barcode reader. Real time reagent status clearly displayed. Up to four reagent additions / test possible.
ON-BOARD STORAGE: 45 positions in the refrigerated reagent compartment.
REAGENT VIALS: 10-, 20- and 60-ml
REAGENT VOLUMES: 2-250 l; typically, 120 - 200 l.
Cuvettes
Discrete disposable 12-cell cuvette. Continuous access to cuvettes with- out interrupting test processing.
ON-BOARD CAPACITY: 600 measurement cells - 50 multicell cuvettes with 12 reaction cells, typically up to 2 hours walk-away time.
