KTApilot is a high performance, automated liquid chromatography system.
The system is designed for process development, process scale-up and scale down, and small-scale production.
KTApilot is biocompatible, hygienic and subitizable. It meets all GLP and cGMP demands for Phase IIII in drug development and small-scale production.
KTApilot system consists of KTApilot separation unit, the connected computer including a flat-screen monitor, and UNICORN control system.
Liquid flow rates from 4 to 800 ml/min (limited gradient performance at 400800 ml/min).
Operating pressure up to 20 bar.
Principle of KTApilot
KTApilot contains all the fluid handling components required to perform buffer delivery and mixing, sample application, and in-line monitoring.
Detectors and monitors
KTApilot is equipped with detectors for continuous in-line measurement of pH, conductivity and UV absorbance. The detectors provide accurate and reliable monitoring through self-test and self-calibration. The flow cells are placed close together and are easily accessible from the front panel to facilitate maintenance. As a result, band broadening and time delay between detectors are lessened.
Pre-programmed method templates and optimized system configurations minimize preparation time by allowing rapid media screening, method scouting and optimization as well as scale up experiments. Dedicated method templates are supplied for the most common scouting procedures including automatic media screening and automatic eluent pH scouting for ion exchange chromatography. Convenient sample application and column packing is also possible by regulating the flow rate, while pressure can also be monitored through four points.
