    Description

Thermo Scientific Trace 1310 Gas Chromatograph (Bad electronic module)

***Preowned unit for sale AS/IS due to missing top module (top panel missing screws, back panel missing fittings.) Note: (The 220v electronic module included with this unit powers on the Trace 1310, but unable to access menus.) We tested this unit with an electronic module from another machine & Trace 1310 functions normally. Unit powers on and diagnostic shows no errors. (Oven heats up.) See photos for details.

Thermo Scientific systems provide high-caliber gas chromatography (GC) instrumentation. Your TRACE 1300/TRACE 1310 GC system can be a stand-alone unit or coupled with other instruments. GC represents a powerful analytical separation technique. Complex mixtures of individual compounds can be injected into the GC, either manually or by using an autosampler, and then separated the eluate for presentation to the detector. The detector generates signals of the GC eluate and its components. These signals are then processed by a Thermo Scientific Chromatography Data System for qualitative identification, as well as accurate and precise quantification of the individual compounds present in the sample

The TRACE 1300 Series GC consists of two models designed to meet the specific needs of all laboratories. The TRACE 1310 GC features a complete icon-driven touch-screen user interface ideal for direct instrument control in larger routine and method development laboratories. The TRACE 1300 GC is the budget-conscious investment for the basic routine laboratory looking for an intuitive single-button system, that provides ease of use with minimal instrument interaction and full data system control. Both instruments offer the same user-exchangeable, instant connect injector and detector modules and fast oven performance with exceptional retention time stability to reach an incredibly high lab productivity at reduced cost of ownership.

Instant Connect Injector and Detector Modules
User-installable miniaturized, plug-in injectors and detectors redefine usability in routine and high throughput laboratories. In two minutes, without special training or tools, the user can change the instrument configuration to respond to a specific work load by simply swapping injector and detector modules. This unique Instant Connect capability dramatically reduces any maintenance downtime by using back-up modules.

Providing versatility and exceptional GC and GC-MS performance, it's an ideal choice for larger production and QA/QC laboratories and research organizations. This system features a full touch screen for instrument control, status monitoring and on-instrument methods development. With its instant connect injectors and detectors, you can change modules in minutes to reconfigure for a different workflow, develop new methods and eliminate maintenance downtime.
