Vanderlande Industries Fanuc Qubiqa Layer Picker Robot Flex-R Robotic Equipment. Project Number 55922. Built, May, 2016. The basic robot is a Fanuc robot model M-410iB/700, Type A05B-1042-B201, Serial R15Z00730 (typical). Fanuc robot was built on 12-2015. Weight of the robot with controller is 2700 KG.

The robot is equipped with a layer picker head, which picks layers from a pallet location and delivers the items on an associated stripper plate.

When the RLP receives a signal from QUBIQA control to pick a layer, the robot drives over to the pallet location and picks a layer from the pallet. Once the layer has been picked up in the Layer Picker head, the layer is delivered to the associated stripper plate.

The robot is all PLC controlled and can be used for many different functions, combinations, and arrangements. Each robot has an integral large vacuum pump under the main robot to create the vacuum required for lifting.

We have eight of these robot units and a significant quantity of integrated conveyor for infeed and outfeed of filled pallets of material.

The hours of use on this equipment is extremely low.
