    Description

    Basic narrow aperture Goring Kerr 4"H x 14"W aperture horizontal metal detector. Narrow gap means higher sensitivity for your short items (i.e packet, cookies, etc.).

    Goring Kerr is known brand that been around for a long time, thanks to it's simple design. This was used on our mac & cheese line forever, but we found dropping packets through a vertical detector right into box was a little simpler. Machine purchased new and has been serviced by the local metal detector tech up until it was taken out of service.

    A 30 page Goring Kerr manual is included, which covers everything from principle of operation to mechanical and electrical installation tips.  There are many helpful images scattered throughout the manual, the last being titled Figure 19.

    In addition, there are 5 loose pages with additional notes for the maintenance crew to follow, detailing how to test and tweak and balance the unit until it is providing optimal performance for a given set of parameters (i.e. aperture size, food product being tested, speed the product is traveling, etc.)

    I am guesstimating on weight of unit, but will have it weighed when it is sold (for shipping quote).
