2015 Mettler Toledo Safeline Powerchek 400

This machine is used in packaging and processing to detect and reject foreign material contamination. This machine can detect stainless steel, glass and ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

An x-ray inspection machine can overcome these difficulties. The benefits are:

- Not affected by water content (‘product effect’)
- No loss of sensitivity when used with metalized plastic wrapping
- Able to inspect product in aluminum foil and wrapping
- Will find NON-METALLIC contamination, such as glass, stone, certain plastics and rubbers, and other dense contaminants
- Can perform pack integrity checking, including piece part count, placement, and item sizes within pack
- Can perform a form of ‘non-contact weight measurement’ by means of product density.
