Description
Comminuting mill is used for the down sizing, grinding, pulverization and dispersion of wet and dry products in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, cosmetics, fertilizers industry etc. Controlled particle size reduction helps assure that the milled material will be consistent and repeatable with respect to color, uniformity, flowability, density. The product is fed from the top through in feed hopper and a rotary valve and material falls on the rotor blades beater assembly for milling or pulverization. Due to the knife edges mounted on rotor, the downsizing of particle takes place and gets pushed outward from the bottom opening.

MAIN FEATURES:
The Fitzmill comminutor operates by feeding material uniformly into the chamber in which a rotating blade assembly reduces the particles of the material by cutting or impacting them. The material discharges through a screen which regulates final particles size at the outlet of the milling chamber. The blade and screen act in conjunction to determine final product sizing. The fitz mill comminutor has a structure mounted on castors and is easy to be installed, dismantled and cleaned. All parts contacting materials are made of stainless steel, which is anti-acid and anti-corrosive, so that the machine is according with sanitary standard. The machine has the features of stable running, easy moving, low noise, high grinding efficiency, and low consumption of power. The rotor has four sets of four reversible blades. Knife edges can be removed for cleaning very easily. The unit can be equipped with several screens, for examkìple square hole screen, round hole screen, mesh screen. The D6A is equipped with a one-piece rotor assembly with dual knife/impact edge. The impact edge is designed for fine size reduction, whereas the knife edge is utilized for producing a granular end product with minimum fine powder. Nitrogen is injected into the process which permits the machine to operate under inert atmospehere. The settings of nitrogen flow and pressure are manually regulated. The unit is equipped with rotary vacuum lock with seal CORA, glass tube variable area flowmeter and separator filter, with 30 L capacity, applied for pneumatic transport.
