Description

Greerco horizontal colloid mill, model W 750 H, serial # 0321-2980. Features all 316 stainless steel sanitary contact surfaces designed to produce stable emulsions to the sub micron range and disperse solids and or liquids into a carrying vehicle rapidly and uniformly, rotor turbine blades cut against fixed teeth in stator to premacerate material before hydraulic shear zone of smooth rotor/stator with stellite surface, 7.5" diameter rotor with 115 Ft/Sec peripheral velocity, manually operated rotor/stator gap adjustment, 2" inlet and outlet with tri clamp connections, directly coupled to 20 horsepower motor by Baldor @ 3525 RPM, 230/460 volts, 3 phase, 46/25 amps, motor is UL rated for hazardous locations under Class 1/Group D, Class II/Groups F & G, jacketed mill body for cooling, mounted on common base with casters. Formerly used in personal care manufacturing.
