    Bag slitting 'Product Saver' by Kanarek Industries Inc. (Chicago, IL) model PS 400-040SS special, serial # WF-1.

    Features all stainless steel food grade construction, 4in wide with rubber covered feed rolls transport full bags of product loaded vertical to twin slitting rolls with five knives each, slit bags enter perforated metal rotating cylindrical chamber with internal baffles designed to agitate & tumble slit bags emptying product via rotating chamber discharges to inverted pyramid style hopper, 24in x 36in long rotating chamber. Feed rollers have one adjustable side to accommodate thicker bags, feeding & slitting component is on hinged mounting with independent drive and may swing out for clean/maintenance, all drives 115 volt single phase mounted on casters, formerly used in food spice mfg.
