    Hi, I'm looking for some more information on your sartorius metal detector. Will it pick up aluminum and stainless steel? How sensitive can it be set. I am interested in installing a metal detector at the end of our line, after our products are packaged and boxed. Will this unit penetrate through the cardboard box? And finally, the ad says the aperture is 35 x 17, but it looks smaller than that. Can you confirm those dimensions. Thank you.

    No Problem for Alum. or Stainless Basic sensitivity for the MDP C 35 X 15 is: Ferrous – 0.9mm Stainless Steel (304) – 1.2mm This is basic sensitivity meaning that we are not taking into account signals from product effect, conveyor and surroundings. Opening is 5 3/4 X 13 3/4 With a 12 IN Food Grade Belt The box is not a problem but you have to watch for any recycled cardboard as sometimes it has metal in the mix
