The Pyxis Scrubstation system from CareFusion helps significantly improve the operating costs associated with the use of scrub garments. With healthcare facilities spending up to $80,000 a year replacing lost scrubs, this technology helps reduce expenses by electronically distributing and tracking scrub sets to authorized employees. Your staff can easily obtain scrubs until they reach their allocated limit, and then return their used scrubs for clean replacements in their preferred size.
To access Scrubs, employee swipes their ID Badge through the onboard card reader, press ENTER, (system remembers las size selected by individual) , Computer diplay indicates which door to open.
When employee is finished with the scrubs, he retruns them to the Soiled Scrub return Bins, again swiping their ID Badge through the onboard card reader, and places scrubs in the bin.
Scrub station gives you an efficient way to manage scrub expenditures. By automating dispersement, you can track and control scrub use per individual user. And the data collected allows you to project usage and maintain adequate stock on hand.
This lot of previously used Pyxis equipment includes the following components.
