THEY DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THIS ANYMORE. Sure it's an older model and that's a good thing. The drain valve is solid brass with a stainless steel cap. The electric motor can be replaced should it fail. The tank is thick guage steel. The handle is stainless steel. This machine will operate on DC or AC voltage! If the brushes in the motor need replacing, that can be accomplished for less than $5 AND you can replace them yourself...no need to pay a repair shop.
Nobles does manufacture a newer version of this machine. I challenge you to find a replacement motor for a newer model at a reasonable price. You won't as they only sell the motor as an assembly. Look at the drain valve...plastic...the tank..plastic. Made in China garbage. Not everything that's new is better. These days...for the most part..newer is a waste of resources
