Description

8” square Young cantilevered drop thru rotary valve, model 8HC-CA, stainless steel. Style 1; Class 15; cantilevered lever shaft supported by outboard mounted tapered roller bearings, with removable molded PTFE seal rings in shaft seal area. Valve is 304 stainless steel in material contact parts with hinged access door. Serial number of rotary valve is CA-7667. Job number is 9234-1;

The rotor is 8 vane, shrouded end, completely removable from one end for easy cleaning and maintenance with access door. Rotor is shallow pocket design.

The drive is a US. Motor gear reducer with 1 HP, 1750 RPM motor and gear reduction of 25.7:1.0.

Valve comes complete with spare stinless steel shallow pocket rotor.

Estimated weight is 455 pounds. Built in 1987.
