    Basket fabricated from 316L stainless steel. The basket rim and sidewall are solid 316L stainless steel. The central hub / bottom plate is cast steel with stainless steel cladding on its upper and lower surfaces.

    Fully Opening Basket Cover – The basket will be equipped with a fully opening cover that has three latches to secure it during operation. The cover is opened after centrifuging to facilitate filter bag removal

    Main shaft mounted on ball bearings with an EPDM lip seal. The shaft is fabricated from high strength steel.

    Permanent lubrication of the bearings

    Casing: the bottom portion is fabricated from cast steel lined with 316L stainless steel where in contact with the process. The casing is equipped with a filtrate outlet with a 2” sanitary connection. Includes a vent connection with sanitary fitting on the filtrate outlet pipe. The casing’s sidewall is fabricated from solid 316L stainless steel

    Hinged cover fabricated from 316L stainless steel, equipped with:
    • Seal fabricated from EPDM
    • Pipe for feed and wash, 1” sanitary connection
    • Cover interlock which prevents the basket from rotating when the cover is open and also prevents opening the cover when the basket is rotating

    INTEGRAL AXIAL ELECTRIC MOTOR 2.2 KW [3 HP], suitable for installation in an unclassified processing environment.

    The centrifuge casing is link-suspended on three ball and socket joints.

    The centrifuge base-plate and the external frame are fabricated from painted carbon steel.

    AC VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE 60 Hz input, 230 Volt, 3 phase, mounted in NEMA 4X enclosure to control basket rotational speed. The AC drive provides smooth acceleration, deceleration, and excellent process flexibility. Braking resistors are mounted on the outside of the control panel.

    SURFACE FINISH
    All process contact stainless steel surfaces passivated and welds ground smooth. All external surfaces that are not stainless steel painted using a 2-part urethane paint.
