Features all stainless steel contact surfaces with high polished pharmaceutical grade finish, mixing chamber has dual sigma style blades in 13" x 13 3/8" x 13. 5" deep chamber, dome type air operated hinged cover with three inlets including flanged vacuum inlet and two female NPT inlets set up with vacuum break and temperature probe inlet, chamber is rated for -1 bar, mixer and extrusion screw are fully jacketed and rated for 3 bar (43. 5 psi) @ 250 degrees c (482 degrees f), mixing chamber has side temperature well, all shafts are packing gland sealed, extrusion screw is 4. 5" OD and extends 15" out of mixing chamber, screw has bolt on o ring sealed end cap for use during vacuum processing and short bolt on discharge sleeve, unit is driven by 15 and 5 horsepower Reliance "XE" energy efficient motors through multi shaft output main gear box by Pekrun, model DSR171 with pumped oil recirculation, motors are 230/460/3 phase voltage @ 1765 & 1750 RPM, mixer is mounted on 49" x 132" painted steel floor base with corner mounted bolting feet. Formerly used in dental products manufacturing.
