The unit has been designed to cool water or glycol water solutions of up to a temperature of -8 ° C.

The great versatility, low noise level and a wide range of accessories available make McQuay units ersatile to be used in various applications, in the field of air conditioning, in the industrial sector, even in the most demanding processes. The continuous monitoring of the capacity of the compressor allows for greater efficiency and stability of the chilled water temperatures at partial load, with minimal adjustment tolerances. The evaporator is of the shell type with direct expansion of refrigerant inside the copper pipes and water outside. The chiller is equipped with an evolved electronic expansion valve, which helps to obtain precise control of the flow rate of refrigerant. A small footprint allows the passage of the unit through openings of standard width, without the need to provide the machine disassembled or to realize masonry works which will increase time and cost of installation.
