Huber Unichillers offer better efficiency, stable pressure and delivery performance with a constant cooling water temperature compared to traditional tap water cooling. Chillers also reduce water consumption and help conserve the environment whilst lowering operating costs. Unichillers are suitable for the removal of heat from chemical processes, cooling technical plants or as a central cooling water supply for laboratories. All Unichillers are designed for continual operation at temperatures -10 to +40C. Recirculating chillers with a water-cooled refrigeration plant and circulation pump. The evaporator (cooler) and housing are manufactured from stainless steel. The pump is manufactured from brass. Chillers are fitted with an atmospherically open expansion vessel to allow.

The chiller features an overflow outlet as well as the normal outlet for emptying. This is to prevent the damage to the interior of the machine caused by over-filling or flow-back of thermal fluid. It also has an internal safety cut-out switch built in to prevent the pump running dry. The level protection operates when the fluid level in the bath has reached a factory set lower limit or when air is in. The Polystat cc1 is a compact, microprocessor control unit. The set-point limits, the compressor controls, and the C or F display can be set. The controller can be calibrated to comply with ISO9000ff, and all important data is stored in a permanent memory.
