JJ Taylor Toronto Antique Safe
I have a safe made by JJ Taylor Safe Toronto, est. 1855.

Weight of the safe, based on the apparent size of the safe I would estimate its weight at 1200-1500 lbs.

The width is 30 3/4" Depth is 27 3/4" and height is 41 1/2".

The safe is a JJ Taylor Safe. JJ Taylor, an American immigrant moved to Toronto, Canada in 1855 and began manufacturing safes. He exported them to the US until the civil war. After trade with the US failed his business continued to grow, and by the mid 1860 s he had 50 employees. He continued to make safes until the early 1900 s.

Buyer must have a tailgate truck.
