Designed as an integrated line, the C90-A91 is the most reliable medium speed blister line that maintains exceptional efficiency levels during production shifts not only in terms of production/surface ratio but also in terms of product handling throughout the whole line.

MAIN FEATURES:
In line with the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry for just in time production, the C90-A91 has been designed for rapid changeovers from one product to another. Built in compliance with GMP, the C90-A91 provides the maximum guarantee in terms of operator and product safety throughout the entire production process. All types of packaging materials and even recycled cartons can be used on the C90-A91. High efficiency has also been proven thanks to the positive blister transfer to the cartoning machine, which was first proposed by IMA on the C90-A91. The machine can be set-up quickly and easily to work all the materials used in the pharmaceutical industry and the widest range of carton sizes.
Electronic systems control the machine automatically during each process, controlling the various stages of production up to the finished product. The continuous motion of the film and a reduced footprint, make this unit the ideal machine for the single lane production. Its accurate design facilitates cleaning of product handling areas, eliminating all risks of cross-contamination.
The IMA Safe forming system guarantees high quality blisters even in case of material susceptible to shrinkage, visual defects or layer splitting. The IMA Safe feeding systems were designed in stainless steel with smooth surfaces. Easy integration of multiple product feeding systems. With the IMA Safe sealing roller technology all packaging materials can be controlled: this includes the quantity of heat, time and pressure used for the sealing process. IMA’s specific pyramid grid creates a continuous seal around the entire pocket edge with uniformity in the laminating layers. This avoids folds or air bubble forming. The transfer from the cutting station to the cartoner without transverse waste further demonstrates the efficient aspects of the line.
