The Kaps-All AU3 Bottle orienter/unscrambler is the most crucial part of the line where sizes are concerned. Research reveals that the bottle size range is from 1/2" to 6" in height, and up to a 3" width. Furthermore it can handle a wide range of container styles and shapes, including plastic, metal and corrugated containers. Changeover times is only a few minutes. The following is from the kaps-all web site about the AU-3 - Ideal For: • Round, Square, Oval, Triangular and Rectangular Bottles. • Plastic, Corrugated and Tin Bottles • 3" diameter and 6" tall maximum bottle size • speeds up to 300 bottles/minute. Air-Electrical: • 110V 1Ph 50/60Hz (NEMA 12) • No air required
Following the orientor, is the Swiftpack 12 lane. This is an electronic counter, so it will fill whatever count the client wishes to put into his format. It follows to the cottoner, then the capper.
The capper is an inline, 8 spindle adjustable capper, wherein you can adjust for the height and width of the bottles, and it will be able to handle all of the bottles and cap sizes that the orientor/unscrambler can handle. On the capper I looked at the raceway that brings the caps down from the cap feeder into the unit, it has a marking on it of 38 mm, for 150 and 200 cc bottles however the race way is adjustable in width. There are also some parts in the cabinet that state 53 mm snap caps
After the capper is the retorquer, again adjustable to height and width
Finally the labeler, with a 6" web.
